Rachel is wishing the employees at the Brava Christmas party a merry Christmas when Iris approaches her and asks her why the KBAY employees are at the Brava Christmas party. Rachel asks Iris if Iris is afraid they'll run out of punch. Both women pause to greet a passerby heading into the party in the other room before Iris continues her conversation with Rachel by saying that she's afraid the KBAY employees won't know anyone and will feel out of place. Rachel tells Iris to let that be Rachel's problem, and starts to move off to greet more people, but Iris grabs Rachel, turns Rachel to face her, and happily exclaims that Rachel is up to something, isn't she? Rachel merely replies that a Christmas party is a great place for all of the employees to get to know each other, especially the new ones. Iris realizes Rachel is talking about their newly hired TV producer Sloane Wallace, which Rachel confirms when she says Sloane will be meeting Felicia at the party. Iris gleefully asks who else Sloane will be meeting at the party--Jake, perhaps? "If he shows up," Rachel replies with a smile. Iris tells Rachel she doesn't know why she underestimates Rachel, because Rachel is almost--*almost*--as good as Iris. The two share a laugh, and Rachel tells Iris that she doesn't want Jake in their lives any more than Iris does, and she will do anything to make that happen. Iris says she's not complaining, she's just here to help. Rachel tells Iris she'll see her in the other room for the party, and then heads in there. Hank then arrives and he and Iris warmly greet each other. Iris tells Hank that the party is in the other room, and she should get him some punch. Hank asks Iris if she's the boss of the party, and when she says no, Hank takes her hand and says that's great, then they can get out of there, because they've got something better to do, and Hank spirits Iris out of the party. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.
I love that Hank whisks Iris away :)
