Back when The Gap had a series of cool 30 second promos featuring hip, sort of unknown musicians, Junior Brown found himself as a spokesman of sorts. This is the ad--which was available for download from The Gap's then-nascent website. I miss the late 1990s flavor Internet.

  • How dare people on this message board slag off Junior, one of the most original and talented country artists alive today! I'm sure he's a great guy too, I think this is all a case of the green eyed monster.

  • This guy is sooo cool!

  • This guy is from Tulsa Oklahoma i belive and sorry for the bad spelling

  • Junior Brown wears GAP? Guess I'll start shopping there now.

  • @davidnandavid Tanya Rae was actually a student of his, when he was teaching guitar and steel guitar on the side, I believe in Oklahoma, could be wrong on the local. Anyway things clicked, he recognized a good thing when he saw it and visa versa, they fell in love and got married. From what I understand, they are still quite happy!

  • @bluesharpwayne it is possible, i once bought a demin western shirt at the salvation army thrift store, best fitting shirt i ever had, noticed later it had a gap tag, best 1.25$ i ever spent

  • fabulous.

  • @drumuitar Tanya Rae Brown.

  • Junior RULES

  • @jws54 it's his wife. She plays acoustic in his band

  • who is that super model he hired to stand next to him????

  • @GavDuggan1983 True. I noticed on the Phil Demmel Demmolition V review a lot of folks were slamming the playing ability of Paul (from Guitar World), yet no one that claimed to play better could post a clip. Even though I'm not into country music you have to give credit when it is due, and Junior has earned it, cheers from Texas!
