  • Hi Kashmirivogue,

First off, thank you for both comments.

In response to your feelings of losing them, it sounds to me like you need to slow down, a lot, and breathe more when you are teaching. Know in your heart that you are an awesome teacher, and that you are there to make sure that each and everyone of your students get the practice, knowledge and confidence to take English and learn it for themselves!

I'd also suggest you have a fellow teacher or a friend observe you and offer advice!

  • Very useful! Thanks for the lesson! ; )

  • May i know the price of that book?

  • Im not sure what to do. I feel like Im losing them! I want to tell them to make a dictionary. I mean I have them do the date weather temp etc every day on the board but I think I might be going too fast. I just hope they understand! Do you have advice ?

  • Yes but how do you teach progression. Its my second week teaching low beginner and high beginner in the same class. I am a new teacher so I am trying to organize myself. We are using a book that doesnt have grammar as well. Anyway I have taught the present tense, present continuous and this week we did the past tense as well as "s or es". Then I make them do journals but when they do their exercises, I swear they are speaking in Mandarin and trading answers! Sometimes even journals look the same
