  • @bluedevils2002 Classical player? I'd like to see a clasical player try to play "modern" music with the same style that Adam does.

  • @bluedevils2002 Arturo is a great player, I've also heard him murder the Haydn. My point is, its not fair to compare these guys. if i had to hire a film score/ straight show, ild hire Rapa every time. if i wanted to fill seats, then Arturo etc. its like comparing bitter and lager.

  • "Ahh, karma's a bitch!"

  • blue devils and showing off.. when does that happen?

  • Haha, 5:06

  • @Matt are you kidding me I got to met arturo he's one of the nice trumpet players I ever met....you do realize how often these guys are on the road every person on earth has bad days attitude wise

  • @OMRebelJosh And Adam Rapa still has a while to develop, so I wouldn't sell him short on his abilities either. I understand your comment though. Rapa definitely has a better attitude than Arturo though...

  • @MLGcinamin53 Somebody has to!!!!!

  • @trumpetdood21 I don't think that @bluedevils2002 was saying that Rapa was good or even great he was just saying that they're better players out there. I love Adam Rapa but I tend to agree that Arturo is a better player. Maybe not now that he's almost 70something but in his prime he was much better then Rapa.

  • @trumpetdood21 Chill out. Bluedvils2002 never said he was a better player than Adam Rapa.

Of course he is a phenomenal player, but no matter how good you are(even if you are a trumpet god) it's still rude of you to make fun of someone's mistake.

  • I knew exactly what they were laughing about at around 5:06 lol

  • @bluedevils2002..... I was looking for vids of you playing after I read what you think of Adam Rapa... I couldn't find any I was expecting vids of you playing in the upper register because you "like peeling the paint off walls with your power" that's your opinion of yourself thats... Um... Anyway Adam rapa has his own style, and I'm assuming you have one it's just yet to be displayed on the tube lol.. It's funny because you say Adam rapa is a pinch player, and he isn't a great... Yet I know who

  • @phenomenon...and everyone has a opinion it just happens you think yours is right in your eyes ok in mine nope not even close....go watch the monette videos watch his chops hes a pinch player

  • @phenomenon....coconut champagne or macarthur park i think of / you should think off maynard ferguson big full power open sound not some classical tone....and i do like classical at times but not all the time i think its boring and not entertaining and i think adam is a great classical player...but until i see him big time hes notin my book of great trumpet players

  • @phenomenon....ya hes good and give him credit not saying he aint.......what im sayig is him making a joke about a young trumpet player making a mistake is wrong on so many levels no ones perfect....but im a power player i like paint getting peeled off the walls.....hes not a power player thats why he a broadway player.............Jon faddis,Arthur sandoval, roger ingram,Wayne bergeron are in movies tv shows and are the best of the best these guys are great...when i here .......

  • @bluedevils2002 You're kidding yourself. No one has control or characteristic tone like Adam does.

  • Arturo sandoval*

  • Adam rapa is good....but Jon faddis,Arthur sandoval, roger ingram,Wayne bergeron way way way better then he is

  • That 89 season solo just shows everyone has a bad day...and for a professional trumpet player like Adam rapa to make a joke on a fellow trumpet player is very tacky and rude...maybe I should the video from Orlando where he missed about every note over a double that whole night let's see if he laughs about that

  • Fuck. 89 Was my favorite year.

  • Love the 89 reference! I'm glad they laughed about it too!

  • absolutely sick, man! adam rapa is my favorite too!

  • LMFAO 5:05 hahaha wonder what that sounds like hahahahahaha
