Thank you for the insightful comment, Erik. I think it is quite true that we are accustomed to the idea of appreciating "positive", but maybe the true power and strength are hidden inside the "negative", adverse conditions. A good balance of positive and negative is what makes life meaningful, I think.

I'd sure like to use this idea, 'twould be so useful. I have as much intuitive grasp of using adversity for power as I do of using porcupines for pets. Still I buy it.
