  • give me thumbs down if you will but i think the who died when keith did

  • OMG Pete...I lauged for like five minutes at the "goodbye New York" comment. OK it wasn't *that* funny, but you got to love the way he just says whatever's in his head instead of telling the interviewer what they want to hear.

  • Whatever. Pete being a dick aside, I went to both shows. It was an Landmark American Rock event, especially for NYC in my view. Great Rock. Way better than other Brit invasion bands. .

  • I ALWAYS THOUGHT TOWNSEND WAS A DICK AND HE PROVED IT IN THE INTERVIEW AND WHAT HE SAID ABOUT NYC AND SHEA STADIUM.IF I HEARD THAT B4 THE SHOW I WOULD HAVE LEFT AFTER THE CLASH WENT OFF:AT LEAST THEY WERE INTO IT.TOWNSEND DIDNT EVEN WANT TO BE THERE.FUCK HIM.STILL TOOK THE CASH THOUGH ,EH PETE?FUCK YOU TOO!!!

  • The peodo, the prick, the bastard and Keith the ledgend.

  • @tarnopol LOL!!

  • the who sucked on this tour.but the clash super duper sucked.johanssen was ok.when i say the who sucked i mean by thier regular standards.they where still the best band on the bill.when i say the clash sucked i mean they realy sucked.whrn i saw them i thought they paniced on stage, the crowd (that was there to see them), turned on them after 3 tunes

  • @dgrrrl - The only thing that could have made it better is if Keith Moon was still alive and playing there those 2 nights. It was David Johanssen, The Clash, & The Who right? I missed D.J, & but caught The Clash. They were great too. We had made it all the way up to the front by the stage when The Clash was on, but it was real hard to see so that's why we went backwards and wound up on the 3rd base dugout roof. I don't know how that roof didnt collapse. It was packed with poeple ontop!!

  • @chrisGTO66 what a great story man...it was a great freaking show!! the best!!! I will never forget. I totally lucked out - my friends dad dropped us off and picked us up there....

  • @mircea1910 yes, thats correct. Wish I was there, two of the greatest bands of all time in the same stage!!!

  • @iamjohn89 Zak Starkey's pretty good, though. Moon taught him, I think.....

  • @iamjohn89 Agreed. The spirit and soul died with him.
