  • Hi, friends, and thanks for your comments! The music didn't sound that loud on my computer before I uploaded it to YouTube, so I apologize about that. I will be modifying the relative volumes and reposting sometime next week. Is there anything else people might like to see tweaked?

  • People who dive know that sharks are not a threat to the human being. They are predators , but they don`t attack for no reason. Unfortunatelly, nations that consume shark fin soup are also the nations that believe that bile from the liver of bears is a medicine ; in other words, these are entire nations that have no quality in their education system-nations with totalitarism in their politics, completely controled by multinationals and governements. One more time money speaks louder than reason

  • Excellent post, this should be shown in schools around the world and translated into the appropriate languages.

  • Hi, this video is 99.9% awesome and it would be a great educational tool if it weren't for the pro-captivity reference that is in it. I strongly feel that aquariums and the like should be boycotted, not supported with visits. I would have been happy to circulate this video, but as an anti-captivity advocate, I can't do it. Too bad that reference had to ruin such a well put-together work. Sharks deserve to be left alone *and* to be free!

  • Good video. I'd suggest making a shorter, more direct version for those who don't want to sit for 11 minutes. The voice could be a little clearer too.

  • What is the shark at about 1:50 in? I thought I knew my elasmobranchs, apparently not...

  • Thanks a lot for this very informative video, this is so important!

  • Very informative and eye-opening video, showing the reality of the danger and threat by sharks. We are worried in vain, though we have to take care.

  • It's a great informative video , but the music is disturbing, its too loud. Its hard to hear the voice plus me being not a native speaker makes it harder to understand.

  • Great project, however grouper are also in trouble due to over fishing and are not necessarily the cause of parrot fish decrease. : /, all in all good work at educating the public on shark finning.
