Mushihimesama Ultra Superplay - Last Final Boss TGA-RET

I've been told the trick to playing this kind of shmup is to only watch your own ship and the immediate area around it. Don't try and identify every bullet on screen and you'll do a lot better.

Okay, I said. I loaded up the MAME emulator, stuck in some cool bullet hell shooter from Japan and... I think I actually died faster than before. XD

Why do people always say crap like this?
Touhou is extremely overrated and they are only mediocre shmups anyway. Anything japanese arcade shmup destroys Touhou in difficulty, even on lunatic. I mean, look at DDP: DOJ for example.

I wouldn't call them mediocre (well, except for UFO) but saying they're harder than this is just lunacy. I agree.

Yet ZUN managed to develop every single one of the official Touhou shooters singlehandedly. For a one-man company his games do their job right.

Actually, the sequel is out on Xbox 360, Mushihimesama-Futari. This one has a PS2 port.

When did i say i had the skill to get there? i did not say anything like that AT ALL. Your assuming because i said "its easier than it looks" it means anyone can do it?

Also complete ignorance. touhou patterns usually have some sort of gimmick that if you figure it out and you have the control, it's pretty easy to cap (not always..but a LOT of them) this whole boss other then a few parts at the beginning are complete and utter dodging skill. There is NO pattern in touhou that equals this boss's final pattern. how many touhou videos labeled "superplay" have the player getting hit not on purpose as many times as the guy in this video gets hit?
