Testing Shadowing technique 2: French text

My mother tongue or first language is Spanish. I studied some French. The recording was too fast so I modified the technique and had the text in front of me. Even with that aid it was still very hard to follow. I wonder what's a good recording speed for the shadowing technique to work efficiently.

a veces tienes que poner sobre pausa, porque tu estas tratando de ir mas rapido que la caseta, y a veces no tienes tiempo para escuchar atentivamente los sonidos ! qué lo pases bien ! y hasta pronto

De verdad? como funciona? qué idioma ensenas? y qué idioma aprendiste tu solo con este metodo?

thanks for your comment. i was not really trying to get myself understood.. i was just testing that technique. :-) i think one of the points of the technique is actually (try to) copy real time speech and not slower speech prepared for students. but it's an experiment any way.

Tendrias que escuchar algo mas despacio porqué no tienes tiempo para pronunciar correctamente las palabras y a veces no entendemos.
