& I can't imagine the under side of the bridge, I should note to take a look next time I head that way. The 210, doesn't worry me much.. but this one DEF makes me un easy.

This bridge will be 60 years old this year, and is certainly showing it's age. Interestingly, the other Lake Charles bridge (I-210) is 50 years old and is in rather good condition. Advances in bridge engineering and construction between 1952 and 1962 can certainly be noted by the two bridges in Lake Charles.
