What computer hardware system is being used? iMac?
ianhit 8 months ago
@ianhit This video was recorded on Nuke running on Mac. Not sure which native system Dav used to do the work, but Nuke is agnostic and can run on Linux, Mac and Windows. Hope this helps.

@TheFoundryChannel Thanks for the reply. I am using Maya and Nuke on a Mac, and have been for some time. My system is now outdated. I still have an old G5 PPC, so I should upgrade. Recently checked out the iMacs and I'm starting to favour that over a Mac Pro simply due to cost and it is lighter to transport (I am often working in different countries for months at a time). So when I saw Dav using a Mac in this video it made me think that nuke can maybe run very well on an iMac? Is this true?

@ianhit Nuke works well on an iMac. The more RAM the better though...

@TheFoundryChannel Thank you for the info. I have done some research last night and I am now thinking it is better that I buy an older Intel Mac Pro than a new iMac. The price would be about the same, and I can upgrade the Mac Pro as I go along. Thanks again for your responses. They have been very helpful!
