@anthonytr which sentence are you referring to? It seems to me you are talking about the part in which he says you get mitotic division. If this is the sentence you are referring to as ridiculous it might be because you do not have a good understanding of this process yet. Spermatogonia are 2n cells and they divide using MITOTIC division. You do not get meiosis until later in this process when you are actually making the spermatids. I hope this helps clarify this a little.
