i grew up on the central coast and everyone knew the famous ian hill and his BDA
my mum used to work at 2GO radio who was the major sponsor for the 2GO FOREST CLASSIC hilly's home rally
This dude lit up the gravel and when i was young he lit up my love for rally and motorsport in general

I saw Ian Hill at the Enka Fill Alpine Rally in 1983, it was the first big car rally I went to. These old cars are some much more lively than the current crop of rally cars. today it's all about stright-lining, back then it was about power slids. :)
