Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, also called Gitmo

By ATMO productions. In the wake of 911 2001 terrorist attacks, the USA opened a prison camp at Guantanomo Bay. The Hundreds of prisoners believed to be detained there are not afforded prisoner of war status according to the Geneva Convention. They are labelled unlawful combatants, held indefinitely with no right to a lawyer or a trial.

"You really need to treat them like dogs, or else if you treat them any better then that you have effectively lost control of the interrogation"

This documentary looks at the link between Guantanomo Bay and the torture methods used in Iraq and the roots of how US forces tackle the task of retrieving information from the detainees. Ex detainee Mehdi from Sweden breaks his vow of silence and talks about his time at Cuba. Interviews with senior officers within the Cuban base. An Ex officer from within the Iraqi prisons speaks of how she was misled on treatment of prisoners and how direct orders from the top were given authorising torture methods. "nickname GITMO by US officers" Running time approx 100 minutes

  • Sweden ftw!

  • people where getting killed/tortured like this in iraq?

I am not American, I am an immigrant in this country and must say this is terrible.

To all the victims of organized white collar crime.

I am sorry for your loss. May they rest in peace.

  • It is diguisting how these investigating Swedish journalists want to show their balls.

People get fired on and off, ces't la vie. The more credibile story is not found by the bitter ex employees rather among the serving people.

Sweeds don't know anything about warfare-their army is literally nothing.

They should fight their own active terrorism in Malmo since 2007 instead of sticking their nose in other people's business

  • @muslimallday the British government does believe Muslims are people and if there is some mysterious evidence they're racist know that, the British people are not i have so many Muslim friends and they will always be people to me, their god and the people who have done wrong in their religion don't change that.

  • @diabhayo There could be a more rational reason: Continued torture during a long period invokes compartmentalization in the psyche. This can be used in mind control. In this way human beings could be prepared to be assassins under mind control. Search for upload with Cathy O'Brien, who is supposed to be a victim of Project Monarch.

  • for me also the people who work there are a disgrace to human race

  • @muslimallday every person DESERVES BASIC RIGHTS UNDER LAW RAPIST TERRORIST KILLERS OR ANY OTHER KIND OF CRIMINAL THAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A STATE OF LAW AND JUNGLE

  • @Pr0nfessor nazi retard

  • bush was a wanker with less morals than osama bin laden and a head thicker than a fucking redwood tree this should happen to him and all the people who have murdered and kidnapped
