PC World

My experience with PC World's tech support "TheTechGuys":
Last February my Advent laptop broke and since it was (SHOCK HORROR) bought from PCW, we took it there.
For the next 4 months we spent countless journeys going there because their 2 methods of either reinstalling Windows or replacing the HDD didn't do anything.
Finally, after 4 MONTHS!! they figured out the problem, it was the motherboard, but seriously, it took them 4 MONTHS to get it fixed. Avoid them at all costs.

PC World is a part of Curry's. Basically CRAP!!! Worse than Comet, who I work for, who are WORSE! even I dont understand what i just said!!!
If ya buy a PC don't buy the extra cover do ya own research! Which is basically your on ya own!

Hey, you're ringing up the shit call centre I used to work at, i quit because of how shit PC world is but now; due to the recession I'm working in a PC World store and fucking hate it.

this is histericle but now in currys and pc world you can use a insurance thing called WhatEverHappens which is much better ! =D

do not buy a cumputer from pc world they are a bunch of clowns i had the same problem the people who work there

Yerh you said that right. Fucking PC World is a shit company. Even with the credit drunch there doing alright. Must have alot of idot buyers aswell then. Id stick to back street PC shop owners. Leats most of them know what there doing.
