@lastsaracen What sort of evidence would I accept? Well, if he appeared to everyone on the planet, came on my television even though it was switched off, something ike thoms verifiable.ething that I can actualy empiricially experience and verify.
Otherwise, I don't see a good reason to believe. You keep making assertions about roperties of this God, without having ever demonstrated this god.
@BigLundi Bear in mind I'm just another minor trying to share some thoughts with you, that's all. Again. I ask what would you accept as being sufficient evidence that there's a Creator, not a stone, not a animal, not a figment of your imagination, not even a human being but a Living Creator, One who's trustworthy. One who you can easily recognise if you were in state of nutural disposition, like that of a child. One that you'll meet face to face inevitably. Nothing can be without His permission.
@lastsaracen In all of this you haven't given me a single good reason ot accept that there's a god. The arabs were able ot conquer people easily because they had better weapons on their sides, and numbers. As you should wel know, religion does very wel in converting villages nd creatng zealot that would die for you, especially in a primitive world. It's easy to se how the arabs could conquer so many people. Doesn't matter though,m has nothing to do with God.
@BigLundi I know the Bible isn't from the Son of Mary. U know the Quran didn't stagnate scientific explorations. The Quran gave rise to this. In the West, the time before the Renaissace was a period of war, corruption, darkeness and ignorance. As for the East, 1 wonders how a bunch of Arab bedouins were abkle to conquer Persian, Roman and Abyssinian empires in a short period of time. Look, man is limited in time, number and scope. He was made without his permission and he shall die likewise.
@BigLundi I insist that you do acknowledge a single Creator because that's care of a human being to another. It's not even about religion many cases. It's a reality one has to reconcile before he leaves this life. What I meant is that the Quran said some things that gave men the impetus to conduct some empirical research t to see for themselves, etc. Are you sure you honestly haven't seen any signs in your lifetime? You must of seen something. When you say evidence, what exactly do you mean?
@lastsaracen "Minimally the least a sane person can do is acknowledge a Creator above him."
Why? You have yet to give me a single good reason to do so. I have never seen a single spit of evidence of such a creator.
The Quran didn't instigate science.
Don't quote the Quran, cause I honestly don't care what it has to say. Let me ask you, if "And we caused him to be, will he not be grateful?" Was said on Star Trek, or Harry Potter, and not the Quran, would it still mean as much to you?
@lastsaracen Umm, the bible isn't from Jesus, not even supposedly. Not a single church I know of says it is.
The OT doesn't have a whole lot of useful things, again, nothing useful in it that I couldn't quite easily figure out for myself.
Nope, it wasn't divine revelation that gave rise to the scientration of the world around us. In fact, it was the introducing of Islam that stagnated scientific exploration in the Middle East.
@BigLundi Minimally the least a sane person can do is acknowledge a Creator above him. There's no difficulty in that. This is no different than being rejected by your own child. Yes, no doubt, the Quran and science are reconciled in every manner. Afterall it was the Quran that instigated the science you know today. Have you heard about the Rennaisance? Of cause you do. Yes, the Quran does speak of a time when man was a thing not heard of, "...And We caused him to be, will he not be grateful?"
