what really sucked about the autoader on the russian tanks would be when it grabbed the gunners arm and tried to stick it in the breach. M60 tank crewmember 1979-1980 Berlin Brigade. Go 40th Armor!!!!
the old soviet union had a bunch of short left handed people in their tank corps, see the inside of both, repaired the m60 for 5 yrs, barely fit into the t72
yes, but as you should know, Iraqi's made a look alike of the T-72, those werent the real "T-72"'s of Russia, i can however say that the Type 59's were easy to take out obviously...
"Crew training means nothing. Numbers mean everything. If we learned something from world war 2 is that soviet tank units with poorly trained crews outnumbered the Germans so badly that often they ran out of ammunition quicker than Russians ran out of tanks...."
Hence the neutron bomb....nullifys numerical superiority.
@berlinbear40 yeah. and nothing nowadays compares with the old 60 offroad. The Abrams doesn't have that clearance and suspension travel.
My stepdad used to see these a lot when he was on the wall. Good ol' US steel.

The Iraqi T-72 Lion of Babylon has better standards than the T-72M. (Monkey/Export varient)
So they were "real T-72's" and they got parts from poland.
Is the M-84 not a real variant of the T-72 due its polish built now?

Thats funny, because back in gulf war there were m60s battling t72s, the same generation tank and the t72s lost terribly, on the few battles the did
