no need to upgrade your processor i5 actually works better than i7 in this game and just wait until the next gen processors and gpu come out too.

Thats a terrible hit on performance their? Your hard drives have alot to do with fraps believe it or not. Are you recording off to a fast second hard drive or a ssd? I went out and bought one just for fraps(a cheap 60gb one) and my frames only change by about 3-5fps.

@WTEIncognito I bought the first half of my pc last year when Sandy Bridge got released, and upgraded to a GTX 590 (Since I need 3 screens, and have little room and not enough power for SLI nvidia cards, couldnt buy ATI, since I got nvidia 3d stuff here which will not work with it.) Im guessing, all together, the PC is around 10000nok nowadays (1000 euros? maybe)

Found the bug. I got 3 screens. If I have multible screens enabled (3), it disabled the 2nd core. So I end up using 1 core for BF3. Getting around 80 - 160 fps with both cores on full graphics.

I see game play videos of others getting 90 + FPS with the GTX 590 with everything on max, but I do not know how that is possible since I am not getting the same results. Maybe BF3 is only using one of my cores? :( I'll try to update the drivers to see if it helps improvement.
