  • Bass Mechanik - Night Bass

  • nice ssytem keep it up !

  • @mhodgkin no problem... I used to crank mine up just like most other people, until I watched a video where someone hooked an oscilloscope up to the amp, and you could see just how easy it is to send a square wave to the subs.... mine is set to just under half now on a RF P1000 pushing a 10w7, and even though I itch to turn it up more, I want this stuff to last!

  • @CoupeDeville23 thanks a lot man you're completely right

  • @mhodgkin The purpose of setting the gain is to match the output voltage of the source unit... depending on the preout voltage of your source unit (deck), the higher the preout voltage, the lower the gain should be set... anything over that point will send a distorted wave to the sub... google 'setting amp gains' as there's a lot of good info, and too many people crank it too high... I would never go over half personally... you will get the best quality with the gain nice and low

  • @LiquidForceMan 1 12" type X = 2 12" w6v2's
