@legogunguy001 We have been successful using table spoon per litre and use hot water.
It should be done about 50C for 30 minutes. An aquarium pump is god to pump it round by, and if you have several cells to be done, you can connect them all together and do them all at the same time.

@regpye Also I read that I need to use a cirtric acid solution with 10% citric acid by weight, is this true or should I use a more concentrated solution?
-
@regpye OK thanks a ton.

@legogunguy001 Try pasivating the cell with citric acid, wash out, dry (important) allow to stand overnight or blow some oxygen into cell to complete the passivation. Brown water problem will be gone.

Also I have stainless plates in my cell and have been getting brown water when using distilled water and KOH. Do you recomend using iron instead of stainless?

@legogunguy001 hey bro , for some reason my comment didnt go threw, this is a test and be advised i havnt done any current densitie calculations, if you exceed a critical current densitie you will destroy the plates, look at it like this, ss is very hard do drill and cut, u usualy need a lazer , also ss is an absolutly horrible conductor, alos its very expensive sht , also it generates a piosonis carsinogen called hexavallent chromium..... iron or steel however is a ok conducter is cheap easy.
