Hi there, thanks didn't really expect anyone to view this just wanted to send it to someone. It's actually a plugin in by trapcode called particular. Check this site out i found its amazingly free tutorials
either tutorial 54 or 48 was the particle one. Its just adjusting the time of the particles to 0 so they don't move.
