Team Burning Hawk -- Third Place in Heat -- 2009 World Grape Stomping Championships

Team Burning Hawk, comprised of Burning Hawk Wine's founder Nick Papadopoulos and his sweet wife Jess, entered the 2009 World Grape Stomping contest at this year's Sonoma County Harvest Fair.

The competition was fierce, however the team performed extremely well for their first stomp, finishing third in their heat. Especially entertaining was the team's film crew, Ty and Dr. Kitty whose voices can be heard throughout.

Also of note, the team entered the costume contest and finished dead last, with only one clap from the audience, and was practically boo'd off the stage. Clearly, there is much room for improvement in the fashion department.

Please let us know if there are ways we can improve our form and methods as we prepare for 2010. We would very much like to win it all next year.
