Fifteen volunteers from public power communities spent a day working on a Habitat for Humanity house in Spanish Fork, Utah. The volunteers were among more than 100 people from public power communities nationwide who participated in the American Public Power Association's second annual Public Power Day of Giving. APPA volunteers worked at 11 housing and weatherization projects in Spanish Fork, Eagle Mountain and Provo. The Day of Giving, which began in 2008 in New Orleans, preceded the APPA annual National Conference in Salt Lake City.
