I Have exactly the same drive , ive burned almost 1300 dvd`s in 6 months and it works great i burn at 12x speed with dvd+r platinum of maxell dvd`s no fail , all good LG is perfect and fast quality

i want to take your experiance :
mine came with a blade looking from the back (the connection) and i pluged only one cable cuz thats what it came with it but... there is another slot for the cable (ithink its for the reading cd connection cuz when i pluged only 1 cable it worked but its not reading the freakin cd?!) any help!
