All "Vacuum Cleaners" blow out the air that was used to pick up the dust.
Although they go to great lengths to filter the exhaust air, but then they allow it to blow dust and allergens from the furniture and curtains as shown in the video.
This dust then becomes airborne and is breathed in by the occupants of the room and that which is not breathed in ends up in inaccessible places. For instance inside the TV, Radio and behind cupboards etc.
The only true solution to this is to return the exhaust air back into the Cleaning head. This not only removes the offending blast of air it also makes the cleaner far more efficient. Tests by Intertek have shown that it can save 75% of the energy used by Vacuum Cleaners. It also makes the cleaner safe to use in the presence of Toxic or Radioactive dust.
The video demonstrates how the exhaust air from a vacuum cleaner disturbs dust; it also shows a modified cleaner using Air Recycling Technology that can work without disturbing any dust or paper etc. It is quieter and lighter to push.
All that is now needed is for the cleaner manufacturers to take this new Technology seriously. Perhaps they just don't want to rock the Boat.
Spread the word and maybe they will have to start making what you want instead of making you have what they make.
Some of the dust and dirt that comes into your home can be blown about by the air blast coming from a vacuum cleaner and then end up inside your TV, Radio, Computer, Or your lungs.
