@kunjidee Yes indeed he can! My husband had the pleasure of playing guitar with Sam & Dave after Steve Cropper left the band. When Dave died, my husband sang his vocals with Sam. I met Sam at a showcase in Nashville in 1995 where my husband and I got to dance to Sam singing "When Something Is Wrong With My Baby," looking at us the whole time. If I had died that night, I would have died a very happy woman!

@VorsichtFalle fortunately, his mother gave him a name , Dave, & his father was mr Cropper. Listen to Dave Cropper on Booker T & the MG vids on youtube & you 'll enjoy Al jackson , Donald Duck Dunn & Mr booker T jones himself. And The Memphis Horn, sometimes.( actually on stage on this vid, I guess.)

Otis was my most favorite singer ever, he sang with his whole heart and it is so sad that he had to die too soon. My favorite ever singer but no one but no one can sing this song like him.
