i don't see how any of this is stealing, this was just one hell of a discount. A discount not even something to feel guilty of since it was somebody else's fault.

The only person on the line is the person who programmed the gas price into the pumps. The person who did that will get fired. Everybody else to take advantage of the deal just got an awesome temporary score in life. Good to let the gas station staff know about it, but i'd have still filled up first and not feel guilty.

I think for someone like you. You did the right thing. But you know. Next time take into consideration that the oil companies each made over 14 BILLION in profit in the FIRST QUARTER YEAR. Realistically. I think gas should be 60 cents a gallon. The oil companies are just a bunch of people that are greedy and dont know how to make an honest living. It's hard to earn money nowadays. And I hate to see it go into my tank. I'd much rather have food in my stomach.

i think you did the right thing to one day i went to the bank and the teller i guess was new so she gave me more money then she was supposed to have so i felt bad and so the next day i went back and gave the money to her she was so happy because she was going to be fired if she could not get the money back and it made me feel like a good honest person

I remembered that the gas station I used to work at, the prices were controlled by a district office. So we didn't changed them. So if that is the case, the people in that actual store probably would get minimal trouble for it. As they simply did not notice an error made by someone else.

I would have loaded up my truck on gas. These big corporations butt fuck us every way they can. Yes I know the managers and store clerks can get into trouble. However, typically businesses have a universal requirement of giving out warnings. Possibly yeah this might be a bad enough case for grounds for immediate termination...But really they already fucked up. So whether you tell them or not chances are they will get in a lot of trouble either way.Take ur chance to steal back from the big corp.
