The music is by a Band called 'Whiskey & Gumbo' and is called 'Down South' and no I had never heard of them till I was messing around one day looking for something different to add as an intro to my film......as much as I would like to post the entire record here on YouTube it would only get the Big AXE....lol

How much does this thing weigh and how much torque does it put out?

The flywheel weighs 3ton as for the rest of it, having seen it many times I reckon the engine could weigh as much so 6ton is just a guess, it's great to stand next to it whenit is been started.

Some one previously asked what would happen if the flywheel came off!! I expect the engine would STOP 'LOL'

What would be really cool would be if the crankshaft tried to freeze, it broke off the flywheel and took off across the field, crushing a few cars slamming into a house, causing a natural gas explosion that took out a low flying plane with the fireball and then have the plane clip a hot air balloon holding a wedding right when the husband said "I do." Now THAT would be cool, wouldn't it?

@14omega28ok With a steam engine torque works a little different. From a standstill, if you were to lock the flywheel in place, it would just build up steam pressure (and therefore torque) until whatever was holding the wheel broke, or the engine broke. So, if nothing breaks, infinite torque. In reality you'll either break something structural or overheat/melt something and it'll just break. As for when it's moving, take that hp and rpm and you can calculate ~2600 ft-lb.
