  • your ears are a little messy, i suppose u know why

    like your tutorial

    blender rocks :)

  • @dusski1 need to q-tip them, i guess :D nah, if you're talking about the texture map, yeah, we'll clean that up in Gimp later on. no worries :)

  • going to do any rigging?

  • @vicrobinsontattoo that's the plan; we'll see how long the rest of the texturing and hair sections go (i have to be able to fit everything on a single DVD ;) )

  • are you going to use an external renderer in the end?

  • @Krornus i'll most likely stick with the blender internal, it's always worked pretty well for me

  • Man, turn on texture shading while you manipulate the uv map to see what you are doing in real time.

  • When I paint the texture from the front over the full texture all I get is a white brush painted over the Full_Texture.

The Clone brush in the Tool bar is selected, among with the under Project Paint, Layer and Front, instead of Full_Texture is selected.

    What am I doing wrong?

  • When I paint the face, Blender paint one side and copies it to the other side. How can I turn this off?

  • totally invaluable information. Thanks for posting this.

  • thats stange

First when I render to see what I made the Head was just black.

I Just did it again and again Finaly I don't know what I dit but it workd It was nice head.

I save every thing UV 2 times just for sure and it still work.

When I can back I wanted to see it again and the head is black again ??????????

  • Johnny blender looks like Bruce Willis with hair, but still awesome as (Biiip) !

  • Brilliant! I always struggled with pasting photos onto texture maps. Never knew this was possible in this way with Blender. Excellent tutorial, I learned a lot in the past 40 minutes!

  • If you would like me to render it in a different render, let me know and I can show you the true power of C4D
