I think the fact that her voice isn't perfect just makes the story seem more realistic. But that's just me. :3

Just in case anyone is interested the man in the scene with her is Len Cariou

This isnt lipsyncing...the tape is just messed up...why does everyone one assume everybody is lipsyncing.....geez

This song wasn't written for a good voice, this song is more aout portraying deep emotions of the character. I think Liz taylor did a good job for such a heart wrenching piece

@MovieMusicFun1 This is really Elizabeth's voice.

As an opera fan I am used to hearing big, beautiful voices. This is not opera (though Sondheim could write one). Taylor acts and lives the music better than many trained singers. This is a heartfelt, poignant peformance from a gifted, talented performer. Let's take it for what it is. As for the lipsynching, that happens to videos uploaded to Youtube sometimes. It is not a fault of the film.

She is way out of lipsynch.

Elizabeth was not a singer but loved to sing. You have to see this was well done and it is her voice. The scene is meant to be heartbreaking and Elizabeth does a marvelous job! BRAVA D'ANGELO OCCHI. Sleep warm we miss you!
