also check out www.stuffthatsgone.com to see three views of this bridge over 80 years. The newly constructed bike bridge connection across the conemaugh river using the 1907 PA railroad alignment is almost done! Enjoy the narration and the luck of catching a train going across the current alignment! Photos Available at our online store

  • @Rahja76 no,it dont.

  • Oh how much things have changed since I've been gone!

  • @Rahja76 Unfortunately, the costs involved to run a railroad, even a tourist line, are fairly high.

Rails to Trails was created to preserve the original ROW, or Right Of Way the railroad built, for future railroad usage by making a recreational trail. However, once people are accustomed to the trail, they are not pleased when the program is used to benefit a railroad and restore rail traffic.

  • Why do they do rails to trails? It's better to restore the rails and run steam locomotives on them. It creates more visitors, attractions and revenue

  • you did a great job

  • Nice!!!! Gave ya five stars!

  • cool

  • Railfans, it doesn't get any better than this.
