People who say this cage is unsuitable for hamsters obviously have no knowledge of how they live in the wild and have most likely been brainwashed by the commercial hamster cage business. The Habitrail Ovo cages are the closest thing to the wild hamster dens I have seen. Hamsters are naturally afraid of open spaces like an aquarium would have. Do you see hamsters running around their cage? No, you see them sleeping in a hidey hut or in a tube. Educate yourselves before making ignorant comments.

@Tylercowan1234 you're just too stupid, aren't you? just because it's a little bigger than the other plastic-prisons doesn't mean this is better. It is cruel to imprison a hamster in such garbage. Don't you feel guilty? In my country they wouldn't even sell this shit. A hamster needs at least 100x50x50cm and some plastic balls are never the deal. (anything smaller is animal cruelty.)

I can't fathom how u think this cage is too small, compared to the dinky ones they sell at most retailers. It's about 5times the size of any average cage and is designed to fit the needs of this hamster perfectly.
