Hi Daniel, Now don't get me wrong but you'd have to agree the Polo off could have been avoided, only from the point of view that he would avoid landing on the Astra, No doubt he would of gone off anyhow, due to the standing water, See my other Vid of Burkart and he Can drive! Glad noone was hurt and as I know it's not always easy being a marshal. As regards the Sector marshal, I thought that it was him in the Red water-proof jumpsuit on the Bridge, Now he did get alot of abuse from the crowd!

Hi all, This is getting interesting. . .Me the video guy, wasn't the one shouting about the flags, that was the guy to my left, But there were more marshals on the corner other than the Section marshal on the bridge and those helping the drivers of the cars. It was these "extra Guys" that were standing further down the road that the crowd was shouting at. One last note . I marshalled all day Saturday and Sunday, Also shooting the video was difficult as my hands were freezing!

Unfortunately , it was the marshall standing on the road that put the second driver off in the first place, at least that was the conclusion that me and those around me at the time came to, The marshals failed to warn the Polo driver of the accident ahead. Both cars were back in the rally the next day!

The driver of the Polo was Ken Treacy, the lotto winner from Carlow and he was pissed at the marshals

Can you define what in your opinion is a "Proper Rally Fan" in the view of a Rallyhead. The standard of the Marshalling on this stage will not be used as a "Guide to Marshalling "as they were errors made. The Marshal on the road caused the Polo driver to miss his breaking point, he should have taken into account the times between cars and moved himself out of the way. He should also have taken this into consideration as a number of cars had similar near misses. You must be a genius not to figure

who are the assholes shouting to the marshales to DO THEIR JOB in this clip ! do these prick not realise you do not get paid for standing in the rain for hours before the first car comes and for hours after all the spectators leave to clean up after them, This is done so that Proper rally fans can enjoy the sport, without Marshales this could not happen. Accidents can and will happen and it makes my blood boil when pricks blame marshales, Get a life ,

well it proves this can happen to eny one as i no the driver/co driver of the astra are very experienced rally drivers but thankfuly thay where repaired and running again the next day
