Conrail Shared Assets Browns Yard Christmas Train December 10, 2011

Ive been wanting to chase this train for over a year now. When i found out the date, it was immediatly placed on the calender, and they day was planned.

I woke up around 7:30 AM on this awesome saturday, to head down to browns for some start up pitures and videos. I found out that only if you know about browns (where it is) you are allowed to go into the yard and take pictures, and lucky was i that they had 4 or 5 geeps sitting around. We chase it from Browns to Jamesburg by ourselfes, then we meet up with CSX2566, MIKE77E9 and DaveNJersey for the further chase to freehold. Please enjoy the scenes from todays chase as it was truly awesome.

Big thanks to DaveNJersey (Dave) and MIKE77E9 (Mike) for letting me tag along for the part of the journey i was unware of.

AWESOME VIDEO! So that type of horn is an RS3L? It's my favorite sound of all horns! There is an old ALCO S1 that runs for the Whitewater Valley Railroad here in Indiana where I live with that exact sounding horn.
