A stock '06, 4 cyl, 5-speed, Kia Sportage is WAY faster than any Honda Civic that the mexicans have riced around my area. Hands down. Kias may be cheap, but they are dependable, decently fast, and better than any Honda -- MY OWN FUCKING OPINION.

@deadatmind Good things it is just that "Your Opinion" Civics are by far faster and more reliable by a huge margin over those Kia piles of shit. First time you push the throttle down in them Kia's and tack it out you have an Engine knock for life. They break easy and have shit for power and run like crap. Kia is the worst investment you could make in a vehicle and this is no joke this is fact! glad you like them but in the real world there totally useless ....

I've driven my mom's '07 Sportage (the LX manual), and it's rather slow. Although faster than first glance would suggest, I would still whip its ass anyday in my 3.1 V6 sedan.
