Nick: Alex Henderson.
Nurse: processing delivery?
Nick: uh, I think? Unsure of what she meant.
The nurse slid her glasses down to her nose from her eyes.
Nurse: maybe?
Nick: uhh.. he looked confused.
Nurse: you look young, let me say it in another term is your girlfriend giving birth?
Nick: YES he screamed.
Nurse: Alex Henderson? she said scanning the list.
Nurse:isnt here.
Nick: what do you mean she isnt here?
Nurse: do I need to explain isnt here to you now?
Nick: any other alexs?
Nurse: I believe that confidential. If her name is Alex Henderson, it should be Alex Henderson here, am I right?
Nick looked at the Nurse Frustrated she was not being easy on him.
Nick reached to his pockets pulling his cell out.
He dialed Joes number.
Joe: HELLOOOOO he said slightly screaming.
You could here Alex yelling in the background.
Nick: where the hell are you!
Nick was walking down the hallway panicking. All he could see were pregnant women walking around, and all he could hear was pregnant women yelling, and babies crying.
Joe: room 605.
Nick: 605? Ill be there in a minute, tell Alex Im coming.
The nurse then looked at the list of names. It read Alexandra Jonas.
Nick ran into the room 605 seeing alex scrunching her nose together yelling with joe next to her holding her hand.
He ran over to alex.
Nick: Thanks bro.
Joe: anytime, good luck.
Joe hugged Alex and left the room to sit in the waiting room with the Jonas Family and Amanda.
Nick: hey babe
Alex moaned.
Nick: I know, im sorry.
Alex smiled at nick through the pain.
Nick stroked her skin and tucked her hair behind her ear repeatedly.
Alex started screaming loud.
Nick got scared.
Nick: YOU OKAY?
Alex: NO she yelled, grabbing his hand.
Ow nick thought.
Alex: Contractions she managed to say, then continued to yell.
The doctor walked in.
Doctor: Ah! Excellent, youre doing a great job my dear. Lets check how much youve dilated.
Alex nodded, and scrunched his eyebrows as the doctor checked.
Doctor: well, looks like your fully dilated. Im afraid its time to start pushing.
Alex looked at nick in terror. Nick did the same thing, trying to stay calm for Alexs sake.
Nick: itll be okay, Ill be right next to you the whole time alright?
Alex: I love you she smiled nick kissed her.
Doctor: okay, so well start counting and pushing okay?
Alex nodded and began to push. Her eyes squinted and her nose scrunched up.
Doctor: good, harder 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
Alex: owwwwwwwwwwww
She squeezed nicks hand even harder it was now on the verge of being broken.
Doctor: and again, push, push, harder.
Alex: IM TRYING she yelled.
Alex: owwwwwwwww holy shit
Nick: youre doing great, come on
Doctor: and.. PUSH
Alex continued to push and yell loudly.
Doctor: and the heads out.
Nicks heart sank. This was really happening.
Alex: AHH, I CANT DO THIS
Nick: yes, you can your doing a great job come on
Alex pushed. After many more pushes and vicious screamed a baby began to cry loudly.
Doctor: CONGRATULATIONS. Its a girl.
