How about actually confronting the criminals in mass non-compliance not bullshit hugs. This specific message of "Love" is tainted with side issues and retro 60s bullshit. If charlie veitch is there he deserves to be confronted. Anyone in UK who knows 9/11 was an inside job , we should do something in London.

Charlie is a placeholder for a kind of nascent "political" activism that has built up around a core of conspiracism and naive fantasy - my criticism is broadly aimed at that rather than Charlie per se - but he serves as a good focus point as he embodies the worst traits of this marriage of conspiracy theory and childish political posturing.

Criticising a demagogic fantasist misdirecting genuine passion for progressive social change and leading it down a cul-de sac of mysticism, conspiracy and fanaticism is hardly saying "a sane society is about figure heads" - I think you have entirely missed the point of this criticism.
