http://www.permies.com When eating dandelion blossoms, it is all edible, but it is the blossom that is the sweetest.
I never thought of the idea of eating dandelion blossom fritters!
Some exoert commentary from Heidi Bohan, author of "The People of Cascadia"
@SubconsciousDweller Dandelion wine is really good. The wine is made with the blossoms.

When I was younger I read in an edible wild plants book that I had that dandelions were edible, so I went out into the front yard, picked some of the leaves, and boiled them in my little camping stove kit. Then I got a headache....so I haven't eaten them again. For some reason, certain smells give me a headache, so I figure it wasn't the plant itself.....

You can make tea. I've seen it on youtube, and I've heard about it sometime ago, it looks ok.
Don't know what the tea would taste like. I saw the blossoms eaten right off the lawn for the
very first time a couple of days ago when I first saw this video. My stomach turned, but if you
have eaten them, or you want to, that's fine. I have a hard time convincing myself
they are safe to eat providing there are no chemicals on the flowers.
