STAR WARS SPEEDER BIKE

A Full size replica of the Speeder Bike used in "Return of the Jedi." I used the AMT/Ertl 1/6th scale model kit to reproduce it. Not shown in the film is the tractor drive (an electric wheel chair) that allows me to be able to drive it around.

I'd like to hear from someone who has worn the Scout helmet on a Ninja type bike, who has driven at speeds in excess of 150 mph and turned their head to the side. I'm of the belief that the Scout helmet design would cause their head to be wrenched back.

I tried to make one of these when I was 8. Essentially imagine a piece of log, a broomstick, two slats of plywood on the front, and four plastic wheels nailed to the bottom part of the log. Oh and to steer I nailed a strip of wood across the top front. It um.... Didn't go.... but truthfully in my imagination, before it was done it looked exactly like yours. Beautiful replica. Thanks for sharing!
