I'd just finished film school and had hired a Z1 as a graduation present. Fifteen minutes after setting up, near Princess Diana's Memorial Walk, this happened. In front of me with the camera rolling!
It's been seen all over the world; on BBC World, MSNBC and in Canada.
Normally, that pelican is a lovely fellow and very friendly. He even likes his head to be scratched.

I hate to sound sad, but there was footage of a heron eating a duckling on springwatch earlier this year, which just goes to show how desperate life can get for hungry wild animals. If you were involved in a plane crash and your only hope for survival was to eat the dead around you then you would do it out of desperation! Sounds horrid but it's probably true!!
