@thisischavez Very much agreed, and Jerry is the standard I set myself too. My older tunes (not the stuff posted now) was likened to Jerry by a co-worker of mine. It was the greatest compliment I have ever received as a musician.

@PezoCon. Man, you are 100% right. I have no idea what that guy you were cooresponding with is talking about. Time signature changes is whatr makes Jerry's writing style unique. Anyone who doesn't understand that just doesn't understand music writing. Plain and simple. You are right. That other person is 100% wrong. Period.

@incutat. True statement. He's as good as we're gonna get nowadays. Actually, he's on a different, much higher level than almost all of the other musicians on the radio today. And I mean no disrespect to others. It's an accomplishment to be on the radio. Period. But Jerry just takes it to another level. He's the standard that all those on the radio today should strive to be.
