Japanese people are free to do research on the war...Japan does not have net censorship. And many intellectuals speak with their conscious. So I think they do know what happened. The japanese people u referred to are just a handful of people. yes , japan's future generations will bear this Moral debt that they don't deserve!

Nothing much. As you see how the Germans are portrayted in the American films, we are also used to see this kind of thing. As a Japanese audience, I liked this film pretty much and want many other Japanese see this.
