haw u say that the colours of the expensive cam are better but i do think with the expensive cam??? the contrast is way to sharp..... and ( ha ha ) your eyes get to dark.....

@LarsBauer74 I have a Microsoft VX-5000 and a Logitech HD C510 web-cam. Both allow a variety of inputs
including an external microphone. Best tech specs are at Tiger Direct. Go there and pull up the webcam you like and you'll get the answer to your question for sure.

Hey for the lifecam, how did you edit it to get full screen? Everytime I try to edit it it adds a black border around all of my videos..
-
why my lifecam was very slow when i used it to view my camera in yahoo , but it was faster when i used it with video call also in yahoo messenger

i'm very excited to own a lifecam cinema hd webcam its my best webcam ever. 720p 16:9 video-chatting on MSN and skype or yahoo messenger...definitely a good buy!!!

Thank you very much.
Thanks for this review!
Do you know by any chance if the software that comes with the Microsoft cam has been updated so it's possible now to switch to a different audio source as opposed to being stuck with the in-built microphone?
Thanks,
Lars

@LarsBauer74 I haven't bothered to update the software so I really don't know.

What software did you use to record this video? Does microsoft gives you recording software along with the webcam?

@kledder2 I used the software bundled with the camera to do the actual video capture. The bits where I recorded what I was doing onscreen is in Camtasia.

Do you think the LifeCam Cinema is worth to buy? and a very very nice review I don't know why there isn't alot of views. Will this camera work if I don't install the software??

Thanks! I'm not sure what kind of results you would get if you didn't install the software. I accidentally plugged it in before installing the SW (they want you to install the software before plugging it in) but Vista recognized it, so I imagine it would work just fine.
You might miss out on updated drivers though.
