  • Thank you! i love this song!!!

  • Gayly Gaylord

  • @BahmanG- Ray Manzarek. If it weren't for The Doors i would never have listened to this band. If it weren't for The Doors they wouldn't have existed ;) this is a great song.

  • Very interesting version with xylophones! But where is that verse during the bridge?

Lovely photographs as well. This goes in my list of favourites.

  • @blainebill39 (Continued) and through the cocteau I got into loads of other bands. Among these, Felt is my other favorite band. So far I have met robin, simon, but, alas, no Liz. Though I did shake her hand at the first leg of the Heaven or Las Vegas tour in Los Angeles. Are a Felt fan?

  • @blainebill39 I think our musical taste followed the same path. In 1987, I was a deeply closeted 14 year old. Almost saw the bunnymen at the universal amphitheatre. But my dad wouldnt give me a ride. And months later I saw love and rockets at that venure, which became my first concert. From love and rockets i began exploring bauhaus/tones and tail. Until one day, i saw Carolyn's Fingers on 120 minutes and my life has never been the same. The cocteaus are still my favorite group.

  • @BahmanG

It was so great to see your response! It's as if I had been waiting

for you to show up! I knew that it was statistically impossible for

me to have been alone in this. Yes, many of my friends, both queer

(gay) and straight, wore lots of black, eyeliner and all.

  • @BahmanG In truth "Echo" was probably the more romantically influenced of the bands we followed! We all seemed to be enamored of bands like Joy Division, Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy and the like! I personally began to diverge from that scene when I started getting into 4AD bands like "The Cocteau Twins" and "Dead Can Dance". I find it interesting that what years later was coined "Goth" we had refered to simply as "Death" or "Dirge" rock! Great hearing from you! Cheers! Blaine
