The other day I caught mine going from top-corner to top-corner of his cage, slowly lifting the roof of the cage out from the side walls. He managed to discover how the cage was constructed and decided to take it upon himself to disassemble it.
Of course, the roof was too heavy for him to lift, so he gave up. He's resorted to other means of getting out.
It really is amazing to watch how intelligent these birds are.
