One of the best prayers is that for God's blessings and peace upon those we love and care for.

  • It is hard to explain the overwhelming feeling of peace I get when I listen to this song. I sang this and an Irish Blessing in acapella choir in high school and both songs have stuck with me since then. Absoultely beautiful!

  • This song is suitable for high voices! :D

  • This is so beautiful - the very best of interpretations and a perfect speed. As I said with the Cambridge Singers version of The Gaelic Blessing on here - you wouldn't expect anything different when the composer's conducting and directing! Wonderful.

  • @whenitknocks So English composer with The Cambridge Singers who he founded in Cambridge in England and you don't like English people singing in english. What a plank! Do us all a favour and stick your head back where it belongs.

  • This is just great, except for those awful British accents.

  • Praise the Lord!!! <3

  • I have to sing this for a man who died fighting cancer today.

    RIP Mr. Ralph Van Nostrand.

  • My favorite prayer in my favorite setting. Thank you for the lovely images you posted and thank you Mr. Rutter for giving us this beautiful song. I've sung it with many choirs over my lifetime and it never gets routine - always inspiring and special.
