Congratulations to Jenny Strawn, BSN, RN,CPN, for receiving the Robert E. Murphy, M.D., Spirit of
Caring Nursing Award. Childrens Hospital &
Medical Center recognized Jenny Strawn during the 2009 Circle of Caring Awards Celebration for significant contributions she has made to children and their families. Strawn is a pediatric cardiology nurse specialist at Childrens. She helped develop Camp Braveheart, a summer camp for children with cardiac health conditions. Because of their chronic medical needs, these children might not otherwise have the opportunity to share in this childhood tradition. Strawn also participates in medical mission trips and acts as an advocate for her young patients.www.ChildrensOmaha.org
