Here, remarkable individuals of different faiths made lasting contributions in such areas as poetry, art, architecture, music, dining etiquette, science, agriculture, medicine, engineering, navigation, textiles, and even hydraulic technology.

Their rich, complex culture reached a high point in the Mediterranean Middle Ages. However, larger forces in conquest of land and power brought about puritanical judgments, absolutism and religious extremism. The conflict they triggered extinguished the shared learning that once flourished in this enlightened land

@politicaltourist: Ok, if you look at the four letters in the old testament, in the Hebrew Language, they spell out when said: ''Mahamadim'' as you said. These same four letters are similar to the Arabic letters making up the word ''Muhammad''. If you Translate  those four Hebrew letters, You get the word Muhammad. I have seen a Rabbi, In Jerusalem, reciting the verses concerned, and explaining that the word is Muhammad. So according to some Hebrew speaking Jewish rabbis, The word Is Muhammad.

@auscorpio7 The only prophecy Muhammad ever made was proven wrong. You can find it in quran, surat Al Rum 1-5 which says the Romans will be victorious (or defeated depending on the punctuation which did not exist during Muhammad's lifetime and was inserted only after the various versions of Quran were burnt by Othman!), and then be defeated again (or be victorious again depending on which punctuation dots you choose) AFTER A FEW YEARS. This denoted 3-9 years by Muhammad in Hadith but took 15 yrs

@ProudMuslim2010 Muhammad is not mentioned in the old testament by name. Mahmadim isnt a refference to Muhammad. Go learn some hebrew grammar and find out why instead of blindly following third world Islami "scholars" that spread false info. Most learned Islamic imams will back my statements on this issue btw...

@Sipahi100 The book exists and it is called The Bible. It is available in most good book stores so I suggest you buy one. Once you read it with an open heart you will realize that Satan is very clever and cunning. That may explain a lot of things about why Islam is the "fastest growing way of life both demographically and in terms of coverts"...
