Properties And Explosions Of Sodium Metal

I show the properties of the alkali metal sodium(Na) and also show 3 big reactions of it with hot water, i have found that when you want it to explode, hot water makes it much more likely, you can never be sure though, as sodium is VERY unpredictable, although amounts above 3 grams will almost certainly explode violently when put in large amounts of water. I got my sodium from Prolabscientific(dot)com, but i think they have stopped selling it, as i can no longer find it on their site. They will ship any chemicals from their site right to your door if you live in canada!
