The Impact of Homosexuality on a Family

Karl and Judy Schowengerdt share the story of how their son's homosexual activity led to a diagnosis of HIV, and his early death as the result of AIDS. They live in Iowa and oppose the recent Iowa Supreme Court action forcing County Recorders to issue homosexual marriage licenses, because they know first hand the pain that homosexuality causes within a family.

That has to be one of the largest, boat loads of crock I've ever heard! Since when does homosexuality on any level encourage "fidelity?" @nekoarini Funding for HIV treament has increased every yr, and homosexuals is the only subgroup of people where HIV infections have increased 70% since 2001, while every other subgroup it has decline. It has even declined in IV drug users. You know why? Because not as many ppl are using IV drugs. Just goes to show that the only way is to STOP engaging in homosexual behavior. @DrTerminus The homosexual lifestyle encourages redefining the word monogamy to meaning that it's okay to share your partner with others. One of the most prominent homoactivists Dan Savage goes around the country and gives speeches to youth encouraging this kind of activity. When you define yourself according to your attractions, promiscuity and sexual deviance is more likely and has been the case in areras that have SSM legalized for years such as the Netherlands and Boston, Mass.

@DrTerminus HIV/AIDS originated in your everyday heterosexual. Yes, a PART of the gay community did assist in the spread of HIV/AIDS. But you CANNOT lump EVERY HOMOSEXUAL into one group.

It would be like saying "All Americans are stupid when it comes to world affairs." It is a FACT that many Americans are extremely ignorant when it comes to anything not "American". But not EVERY American falls into this category. Do they?
